the world Is for realistic people, absence of mind Is unaccepted and Is seen as a case that must be treated, the absent minded spend most of life getting treated from something that can be beneficial to the world 

It means that the thoughts are so big that It’s distracting the person holding them. and most likely more Important that the things being said or done. 

these thoughts must be transfered Into reality or the Imagination has no meaning but a waste of time. 

In fact both realistic and imaginative people are needed as a two pieces that complete eachother 

realistic people are helping hand to the Imaginative to take the final steps to make the unrealistic real
